Yes. The New Paltz Police Department has several instructors that can come to you with presentations on a variety of topics. Past presentations have been offered on; establishing a neighborhood watch, the New York State Sex Offender Registry, bicycle safety and how to correctly install a child safety seat. New presentations can be created and customized for your specific needs.
With advance notice the police department will open its doors for group tours. Past groups have included the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, daycare agencies and the school district. Visitors will have the opportunity to see most areas of the police department and our vehicles and have the opportunity to ask questions to a police officer.
